Helen Walton
Co-Founder & CCO, g.games
Helen Walton is the co-founder and Chief Commercial Officer of g.games. Before entering iGaming, she worked in marketing and brand development at Unilever and contributed to the 18-book Value, Flow, Quality learning series, which formed part of a BCS-approved Agile Practitioner course. This background gives her a cross-disciplinary perspective on products, teams, culture, and storytelling. At g.games, Walton helped bootstrap the company through its first two years and worked unpaid for six years while building the business with her co-founders. The studio has since grown to approximately 80 people and developed more than 200 titles. Its major research and development work has focused on bringing real-time multiplayer mechanics to real-money slots. Walton is known for speaking candidly about failure, financial pressure and the steep learning curves involved in building a gaming studio without an established industry network. She combines commercial experience with an experimental and challenger-led approach to game development and company growth.
