OpenBet to acquire sportsbook supplier OmniLogic

OpenBet has agreed to acquire sportsbook technology provider OmniLogic, bringing in a supplier that has spent over a decade working with regulated lottery and betting operators. The deal was announced on Sept. 15 and should close later in 2026, pending regulatory approvals. Neither company disclosed financial terms.

OmniLogic supplies sportsbook technology across retail, online, and mobile channels, covering trading, risk management, and back-office systems. Its customers include World Lottery Association members and other regulated operators across EMEA, with further operations serving customers in Asia and Latin America. The main engineering team sits in Győr, Hungary, alongside testing and support operations in the Philippines and project management in Cyprus.

That Győr team joins OpenBet once the deal closes, co-founders Vicente Torrejón and Dávid Márk Gábor included. The two said the acquisition gives existing customers access to OpenBet’s wider product portfolio and scale while keeping the specialist sportsbook knowledge OmniLogic currently provides. OpenBet hasn’t disclosed OmniLogic’s headcount or named the individual lottery operators using its technology.

OpenBet currently supplies technology and services to more than 200 betting and gaming companies globally, including over 20 World Lottery Association members. Its products span sportsbook platforms, trading, content, geolocation, and player protection, with lotteries taking up a growing share of the company’s strategy. OpenBet president Nikos Konstakis said the acquisition adds existing customer relationships along with technology already designed for heavily regulated lottery markets.

Lottery operators work differently from conventional commercial sportsbooks, since contracts often run through lengthy procurement processes and the technology may have to support both large retail networks and digital products under strict regulatory requirements. OmniLogic already operates across those channels, which hands OpenBet the technology and the customer relationships without building a lottery-focused sportsbook operation from scratch.

OpenBet became independently owned in March 2025, when OB Global Holdings completed a management buyout from Endeavor Group Holdings. Ariel Emanuel and members of OpenBet management backed the $450 million transaction, CEO Jordan Levin among them, structured as $100 million in cash and a promissory note worth roughly $350 million. Endeavor had bought OpenBet from Light & Wonder in 2022 for about $847 million.

That buyout separated OpenBet from Endeavor while the entertainment group prepared for its own acquisition by Silver Lake. IMG Arena, which had sat alongside OpenBet as Endeavor’s sports data business, went through a separate sale process, while OpenBet carried on under OB Global with Levin as CEO. OpenBet was already calling lotteries one of its main growth areas at that point and said it supplied more than 20 WLA members worldwide.

OmniLogic gives OpenBet another established sportsbook platform in that market just as state and national lotteries push further beyond traditional draw-based products. The acquired technology already runs betting shops, websites, and mobile products from one platform, and OpenBet can layer its own trading, responsible gambling, geolocation, and content services on top once the transaction closes.

Regulatory approvals are the last condition standing between the companies and completion later this year. OpenBet hasn’t said whether OmniLogic will keep operating as a separate brand afterward, though it has confirmed that the specialist team and existing customer relationships become part of its wider lottery and sportsbook business.
